Join us for our annual gem and mineral club silent auction during our September monthly meeting! This is a fantastic opportunity for members to showcase and bid on unique specimens.
What is a Silent Auction?
A silent auction is a fundraising event where items are displayed for attendees to bid on without an auctioneer. Instead of calling out bids, participants write their bids on a sheet of paper next to each item. At the end of the auction, the highest bid wins the item. This format allows for a more relaxed atmosphere and encourages friendly competition among bidders.
